I’ll add a few other rules.
Don’t have any reference to the hobby in your residence outside of the garage.
Or better yet get rid of such pastimes altogether because women hate anything that demands a man time and resources* that doesn’t involve her or that she doesn’t personally enjoy.
* resources include closet and other storage space which she needs for shoes, unused photography gear, and scrap booking supplies.
